The owner’s story sounds like something you would read in a horror novel or see in a movie. I would have liked to have seen that video of the boy leaving this painting, which sold for $1,025.00 after a total of 30 bids.

Producer Glenn Gordon Caron, who produced the hit show The Medium, plans to produce another paranormal TV show. This one is called The Meant to Be’s, which is about a woman who must help people before she can cross over to the Other Side.

Remember Highway to Heaven with Michael Landon? That show had the same premise and was very popular back in the early 90s. The only difference between then and now was that HOH wasn’t running against other paranormal TV shows.

Thousands of people have flocked to a small village in northern Malaysia to look at what appears to be a human face that formed in a frond of a betel nut tree. Village elders believe that the face is a ghost and have urged villagers and sightseers not to talk to it, lest they anger the spirit.

Skeptics believe that enterprising locals have manipulated the pictures to make the form scary enough to draw more tourists to their otherwise obscure village.

This sounds like a very good book. I’ve enjoyed Crichton’s other novels (Jurassic Park, Disclosure, and Sphere), but have yet to read them all. Next will be available in bookstores on November 28.
