After four decades of writing metaphysical thrillers and wowing the public with his supernatural feats, Uri Geller is seeking a paranormal protege. He hopes to find one through an Israeli-based reality show similar to American Idol, where ten contestants will try to dazzle Gellar with their amazing performances. Located in Atchison County, Kansas, this unassuming house has been the subject of intense scrutiny by both paranormal investigators (including Sightings) and the media. What makes this such an unsual haunting is the fact that the entities can inflict physical harm on people.

The Sallie House haunting is in a class by itself. There have been full-bodied apparitions and objects flying through the air. I was very disappointed when The Medium didn’t return with the new Fall season line-up. In the 1920’s, the building at 315 S. Central Avenue was a grocery store. Then it became a barber shop, which Louie owned an operated. According to Amy, Louie died of a heart attack in the back of his shop, which is the middle of the book store today.

Louie is not a malevolent ghost because Amy and some of the other long time employees enjoy his company. However, he loves to tease the new-hires with his antics.
