I found this database that lists the number of Big Foot sightings all over the globe. What surprised me was the number of sightings in L.A. - a whopping 17. With all that concrete and the number of people, I’d think that Big Foot would be scared away. I’m thinking that some very drunk (and/or stoned) people got him confused with some tall and hairy homeless guys.

On August 23rd, 1971, in the small Spanish village of Bélmez, a startling and unusual event began to take place. In the home of Maria Gõmez Pereira an apparition was forming on the kitchen floor. It was a human face.
The features were distinct and almost mimicked the expressionist style of painting. Maria Pereira had no explanation for its presence and her first suspicions were that it was of paranormal origin. Six days later, in an attempt to destroy the apparition, the floor was ripped up and a new cement floor laid down. One week later another face appeared in exactly the same place.

Curiosity about this strange phenomenon led me to search the Internet, where I found a more interesting and in-depth article about the Faces of Belmez as well as recordings of the EVPs that were taken at the time of the investigation.
Leftfield PSI=Belmez Faces Article: I noticed a discrepancy between this article and the one I’d originally found. As it turns out the faces appeared in the hearth of the fireplace and not the floor. This site displays some beautiful, if not haunting photos of the faces.
Although the media blitz has long since died down, this mystery continues to baffle scientists and the residents of this village.

Almost everyone has heard about NDE’s (Near Death Experiences). How many people heard of pre-birth experiences (PBE’s)? I hadn’t until I came across an article on the subject at About.com. Many of the accounts summarized in this article were of parents who had had a visitation from their future children before they were born.
Now that I’m thinking about this subject, I remember watching a television show akin to “Rescue 911″ where a woman had suffered a serious accident. She didn’t know that she was pregnant at the time until her son came to her in an NDE and encouraged her spirit to fight. Both she and her son survived.
People have said that life begins at conception. It’s stories like these that make me wonder if life is a continuous thing.

This is a picture of a ghost that was caught on film while town resident, Tony O’Rahilly, took pictures of the Wem Town Hall as it burned to the ground on November 19th, 1995. He took this position across the street, using a telephoto lens to catch a glimpse inside the Hall.
