Ghost Hunting with Your Cell Phone

Ghost Detector Cell Phone

The Ghost Detector, which tied into a live TV broadcast on the Discovery Channel, is an application you can download to your cell phone to measure Electro Magnetic Fields (E.M.F) that often indicate paranormal activity. To get this software, you’ll have to subscribe to Most Haunted Mobile. Then you’ll have to determine whether your phone and carrier support the Ghost Detector, which you can download at no extra charge.

Dead Whisper Out on DVD

Quoted from DVD Review: Dead Whisper

This nicely done production from Ronald James Television (taped in high definition) accompanies members of Indiana Ghost Trackers and psychic Robbie Thomas on two interesting ghost hunts. First they venture into the abandoned and very spooky Manteno Asylum for the insane, where patients had sometimes been held against their will, mistreated and even tortured – a setting ripe for a haunting if ever there was one. Their second investigation is at Rico D’s house, which in the 1930s was a hangout for such gangsters as Al Capone, and later a brothel and biker hangout. With possible murders taking place there, spirits could be lingering.

Dead Whisper DVD

The last paragraph of Stephen Wagner’s review caught my attention. According to him, the research team reviewed the audio and video tapes for EVP and made a startling discovery that raises questions about spirits, EVP and how they exist in the flow of time.

Digital Cameras and Ghost Hunting

Orbs in Motion
I’ve seen hundreds of orb photos over the past five years and have wondered about their authenticity. The skeptic side of me always questioned whether it was the quality of the film, a cheap camera or bad lighting which caused this phenomena. It seems that I was not alone.

Quote from Troy Taylor, Author and Ghost Hunter:

In another section of the website (The Trouble with “Orbs”), I mentioned the problem that the early digital cameras had when operating under low-light conditions. I have always referred to this as the “orb factor” and it was an ongoing problem with digital photography for years.

He goes on to explain that digital cameras with 5 megapixels or greater can not only produce better pictures than their predecessors, but embeds data into each image that is taken. If someone tries to tamper with the data, the image will be destroyed.
