Oregon Bigfoot: Search for a Living Legend

I saw a documentary on Big Foot when I was a kid and was intrigued (if not a little spooked) by the thought of bumping into one of these creatures on a camping trip. This documentary contains eyewitness accounts of ordinary people who encountered this creature.

Based on the trailer (see above), the quality of this DVD is good. Visit Oregon Bigfoot to see the photo, video and art galleries. You may also order the DVD (which is the first in a 2-part series), other movies and books on the subject of Big Foot.

The Near Death Experience Channel

I just finished watching A Glimpse of Forever, where Nancy Maier not only talks about her near death experience in 1973 and what she experienced. It wasn’t the typical “light at the end of the tunnel” that so many others have experienced, but something uniquely her own.

She also talks about her views about death, how it is a celebration rather than a time of sorrow. That I find hard to grasp, due in large part to how I was raised.

This channel has other shows on the subject of Near Death Experiences, most of them by experts in the field, such as Raymond Moody. Click on the link below to watch these interviews.

Ghosts: Unsolved Mysteries DVD

I’ve always enjoyed watching Unsolved Mysteries when I could because they re-enact true stories so well. This 4-disc set looks very good, and the reviews helped me decide to place it in my Amazon Wish List for my upcoming birthday.

Ghosts, Unsolved Mysteries DVD

I’m familiar with a few of the stories in this set, such as the Highway Vision, where the ghost of a mother alerts highway patrolmen of the car accident she was involved in. The rest, I look forward to watching.

Celebrity Paranormal Project

Mia St. John has finished shooting VH1’s “Celebrity Paranormal Project.” At the moment, all parties involved in this new reality TV show are being secretive about where the first episode was filmed and the identities of the actors who will star in it.

However, the Norwich Bulletin thinks the show may have been filmed at the Norwich State Hospital, which was closed in 1996. We’ll find out when it airs in October of this year.
