TechCrunch reports that Hollywood producer Steven Spielberg is preparing to launch a social network for paranormal enthusiasts.

The focus will be on users who’ve had or who are interested in sharing paranormal and extraterrestrial experiences. The new social network may also have original video content investigating alleged ghost and UFO stories.

This doesn’t sound much different from the other paranormal sites I’ve seen, but there’s no doubt in my mind that it will be hugely successful based on who is running it. If this story is true, and not a rumor, then the tentative plan for the launch is three months.
